About BixFish

It started with a float tube...
...and progressed to my Scout Inflatable boat

I started BixFish at the ripe old age of 72 and long retired, when I took up fly fishing on a float tube. I designed a rod rack using 3D printed parts. People saw it and wanted one. I still sell custom float tube rod racks, complete with holders for rods, cameras, fishfinder, coffee, you name it.

I graduated from the float tube to a Scout Inflatables 365, and the pattern repeated. I designed things for my own use, people saw what I made and wanted to buy, and the product line has expanded from there. Recently I converted from the Scout 365 to the longer Scout 430, and love it.

BixFish is a one man band. I do the product development and manufacturing, and I’m sales, marketing, accounting, purchasing, shipping, and customer service. If you have any questions about the existing products, an idea for something you wish you could buy, or an issue with something I’ve sold to you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
